Summer News:

 

I am beginning to get the classroom ready for students to arrive in September.  I hope all of my students are have a fun summer vacation. 

 

Please remember to take some time each day to read and practice math facts.  Doing those 2 things will help you be ready to start the new year off with a bang!

 

 

September News:

 

September 7th:  First Day of School

Mrs. Elliott’s Room: 201

 

October Opportunities:

Book It has begun for the school year.  Your child needs to read each night for 20 minutes and record it on their Homework Assignment/Reading Sheet.  These sheets need to be turned in daily during the week and finally on the following Monday.

 

In Reading we are reading the following stories for the month:

Diary of a Spider 

Teacher’s Pets

 

During the week of October 24th -27th we will be taking a unit test on all the skills we have covered so far this year in Reading, Grammar, and Phonics.

 

In Math we are working on learning our addition facts.  We are working hard to learn +9 and Double +1 facts.
